The Candy Room

The Candy Room by Red Design Group

Candy Store in Melbourne, Australia.
Designed by: Red Design
To go along with my retail obsession and the surreal....
I love the design shops that as you walk outside through the windows you already get the element of surprise. It doesn't matter what they are selling at first you just HAVE to get inside and check it out. Packaging is key. Interior Design is like packaging for the product but in a larger sense. Make a good packaging, you can pretty much sell anything.
Simple and creative. Like.

The store was developed for an importer of sugar-free candy called Sweet Enough, who decided to open their own retail shop. They knew that just any old candy store design wouldn’t be enough and they wanted customers to have an experience when in their store, so they brought on Red Design Shop to create a one-of-a-kind design that would have people spending just as much time shopping as walking around checking out the store.

Creating a black and white design makes the candy stand out, giving the user a feeling of being a child again or being inside a coloring book!
