Hotels are back to become a luxury...I feel that the more I travel, the more options are out there in terms of accommodations. Airbnb and home rentals changed the game and designer are trying to find ways to make themselves different, welcoming and give luxury a different meaning.
A interesting and exciting new take at the W hotel in New Orleans by Nema Workshop. Exciting contrasts, colors and spaces. Cant wait to visit it!
The minibar presents itself as a W interpretation of an altar. The reflective faceted box isolates and frames portions of the image – as you reach for the door you might find her mouth which might shift to become a portion of her ear. Whereas a traditional altar would have candles lining the top surface, this top surface is an illuminated plane.
